This is a really easy project to knit. It’s super warm, soft, and cozy. Using big needles and bulky yarn makes knitting this really fast.

What you need to know: casting on (long tail cast on is best), knit stitch, purl stitch, knitting in the round, casting off.

My grandma, Gwen, taught me how to knit when I was little but I never learned how to cast on, I always got her to do it for me. It wasn’t until a few years ago I decided to give knitting another go and realized I didn’t know how to start.

So… this is the first thing you need to know. It seems a little confusing at first but once you get the hang of it it’s pretty easy.
